Event Details

Tibetan Yoga (Kum Nye) practice opens the senses to feeling, loosening even chronic tension. In this retreat we learn to relax so deeply that we can “taste” the healing nectar of relaxation as it flows through body and mind. Gentle movement, breathing, and awareness practices help us to discover this relaxation.

"Tasting Relaxation" begins on Tuesday, December 27th, at 10 AM, and concludes on Sunday, January 1st, at 1:30 PM. It includes the “Renewing and Refreshing the Senses” workshop on December 31.

Primary Instructor: Santosh Philip.
$360 (nonresidential); $550 (residential).

Nyingma Institute retreats offer study and practice in a focused, relaxing atmosphere. Attendees are invited to participate in the Institute's ongoing work-practice projects, and enjoy delicious meals prepared for lunch and dinner. Residential attendees stay in private rooms overlooking the Bay Area or the Prayer Wheel Garden, at the foot of the Berkeley Hills. For more information, or to register for a retreat, please call (510) 809-1000 or visit our website at www.nyingmainstitute.com.
